I am an artist, designer, pattern maker, seamstress, screen printer, small business owner, woodworker. Everything in my shop is designed, and sewn by me, Isabella Manfredi. When you buy something from my store you are solely supporting me as an artist and the dream of sustaining a living making good quality garments. My intention here is to not have a huge company in the end that grows larger and larger. I’m interested in creating a space and brand that is slow and intentional, art focused, flexible and creative. I want to continue to be involved in as much of the process of my work as I can. I learned to sew at a young age and started screen printing on fabric around eight years ago while I attended UC Berkeley for Art. Since then, it’s been my passion and want to do it for the rest of my life. Last year, I started working with a small screen-printed textile company in San Francisco called Cloth Editions. I design the textiles and they screen print the fabric for me- this step has allowed me to lower my prices and produce more garments. I still like screen printing occasionally, it’s a very creative way I figure out my designs. Other than working with the printers, I consult with a pattern maker in SF and she grades and digitizes my patterns.
All this to say, everything on here that you can purchase is designed and produced by me, one person, trying to make it in this wild world and I do not have the capacity to do returns and will consider doing exchanges on a chase by chase basis.
I do custom work- most garments in my store can be made in a different size. If there’s a size of pants you’d like to see or a jackets arms are too short or too long, just custom order from me and I would love to do that. No extra charge :)
